The Songwriters’ circle

Looking to up your songwriting game — or just need a little accountability?

Songwriters’ Circle is a laid-back, supportive space to write, learn, and stay inspired.

Bring a notebook, your instrument of choice, and an open mind. In this session we’ll dive into a simple songwriting topic, share works-in-progress, and give you time to start writing together. This class is part of an ongoing songwriting series, so you’re welcome to drop in once or keep coming back.

This masterclass is taught by our teachers Jordan and Mickey on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month from 6:30-7:30.

Our preschool music classes nurture a lifelong love of music through imagination, movement and song. Designed especially for young learners ages 3-5, each class invites children to explore rhythm, melody, and expression in a playful, engaging environment. Parents are encouraged to join, but participation is optional.

Classes meet for 1 hour each week on Mondays from 4-5, offering a joyful foundation in early musicianship that grows with your child’s curiosity and creativity.

Adult Combos

Are you an adult learner looking to create music with other musicians? Come join our Adult Combos. Sessions will take place weekly on Saturday mornings from 9-10. Cost is $35 per session. This class is taught by our teacher, Jake.

Cajun Music

With Sam

Kids & Teens | Saturdays 3:30-4:30pm

Join us every Saturday from 3:30-4:30 PM for a fun and engaging Cajun music class at Beanlandia, just before their Cajun music night kicks off!

Led by instructor Sam LeBeau, this class is perfect for young musicians who want to explore what makes Cajun music so unique. We’ll dive into rhythm, instrumentation, and the important role dance plays in this vibrant art form.

All skill levels welcome! While no instrument is required, feel free to bring your guitar, fiddle, accordion, washboard, or triangle and come play with us.

Stick around after class to experience Beanlandia’s Cajun music night and see (and hear!) what you’ve been learning come to life.

Come share what you’ve been working on! Our monthly studio open mic is a welcoming, low-pressure space to practice performing, try out new songs, and build confidence in front of an audience.

Hosted by our teacher Jordan, each performer will receive thoughtful, encouraging feedback to help them grow as a musician. Whether you’re sharing a song for the first time or polishing something new, everyone is welcome!
